Formed in 1990 by three Autoflow service Engineers, the company's sole activity was servicing and reconditioning of Auto Flow Generators. After the Closure of Autoflow, the operations of the company became worldwide, with a growing reputation for speed and quality of service.
In subsequent years the company grew in size with a number of moves, locating to its present site in 1997 less than 400 metres from the old Autoflow premises in Rugby.
A Collaboration with Mr J Wilde saw the launch of the Solo and Duo1 range of cylinder machines at the 1993 Optrafair. Then at the 1995 Optrafair Tritek launched a 4 spindle version of the Duo1 along with the legendary Cribber.
In 1997 the company won a highly prestigious award from the department of Trade and Industry for a revolutionary new blocking system, one of only two awarded in the West Midlands region. At the 1997 Optrafair Tritek launched the Duo2, with its patent applied for, gimble assembly. This has become the company's most successful cylinder machine to date.
In 2000 Tritek acquired the assets of the Lap cutting company Optilap, to expand their lap cutting service. With Further investment in CNC machine tools and 3D CAD/CAM software, any index of tool can be manufactured to exacting tolerances.
Installation of a modern equipped fabrication shop in 2007 has meant the company has full control over the production of its range of machines.
